kaleidoscopesmile asked: hi! gorgeous blog :)
i wanted to ask you about something from your make up routine
i've heard it mentioned before
setting eyeliner with eyeshadow?
what does it do and how do you do it, because my eyeliner (kohl on water line, liquid or pencil on top lash line) smudges like crazy?
thanks :)
One of my favorite tricks! Simply press gently but firmly over your liquid liner with black shadow with a flat or angled brush. It’s going to intensify the color and staying power, much like setting your foundation with powder. Also try using a waterproof formula ,an eyeshadow primer, and avoid rubbing your eyes (it’s hard to resist, I know!)

Thank you lovely :)
@2 years ago with 1 noteadriannesovak asked: I have really thin lips. I usually stick to nude colours and pinks because they don't make my lips look tiny. I've tried reds but they make my mouth even smaller. Any suggestions? I really wish I could wear darker colours =(
Using a lip liner with define the edges of your mouth, making them appear larger. Try playing with the shape of your lips with the liner, maybe you want a curvier, 1950’s lip, or a more angular one. In my personal opinion, those with smaller lips can rock brighter and darker colors more often because it looks more understated than those with bigger lips, like me. I have a pretty good sized kisser, so wearing louder lip colors is something I’ll save for once in awhile because there’s A LOT of color going on since there’s a lot of lip space. This is just my personal preference, I think all women shouldn’t be afraid to bust out an awesome lipstick whenever they want!
*Also, try dabbing a shimmery powder or highlight (benefit high beam or moon beam for example) on the center of your bottom lip on top of your lipstick, and your cupid’s bow to make your lips appear a little fuller.
@2 years ago with 2 notesThis look takes me a little over 5 minutes to do on a day to day basis. If I have extra time one day or I have to look a little nicer, I’ll use the same products but take more time to do it and/or bump up the eyeliner and lipstick.

I was wondering, the order of mineral makeup?
Like after you wash your face, tone and moisturize. What's the next step? Like what tools do you need? Etc?
Like do I wash, tone, moisturize, and then apply the mineral foundation?
I really don't mean to bother you. But I'm kind of new to this. And I'd love your help. Thank you.
Yes those steps are correct! Also, f you want your skin to be a smoother base as well as having your foundation go on easier and last longer, then I would recommend using a primer after letting your skin care set into your face.
