The art of make-up is so intriguing to me and I enjoy improving my technique from any inspiration that I come across! Here I'd like to share all of that with you :)

hipstaapuhlease asked: Will wearing foundation ruin your skin over time?
Contrary to popular belief, I personally don’t think it will. NOW if you don’t take care of your skin (ie. Cleaning brushes, washing your face twice daily, Taking your makeup off BEFORE doing so, using toner, moisturizer, and spf) then you can run into bacterial problems like acne which can lead to scarring. As far as the foundation itself, it all depends on you choosing one that fits your skin type and needs. For example, I am in love with MAC pro longwear, but if I had dry skin instead of oily skin, it might make myskin issues worse etc. But I also think wearing foundation is also beneficial because it acts as a barrier between the sun and your face (though it doesn’t replace the effects of using SPF EVERYDAY). Hope this helps! :)
