The art of make-up is so intriguing to me and I enjoy improving my technique from any inspiration that I come across! Here I'd like to share all of that with you :)
Here are mine:
-Moisturize my neck and décolletage twice a day
-Wash my brushes weekly and sanitize my face brushes between every use
-Organize my makeup so it’s easier to get ready
-Sanitize my phone and headphones ALLLL THE TIME@7 months ago with 40 notes
lacking-creativity-always said: I'm going to Sephora for the first time soon. I'm sure you're familiar with the store, I was wondering, is there any makeup products you recommend? I want to get good quality makeup and I don't wanna waste any money
It really depends on what you need specifically!! I would start with checking out the website and looking at what’s popular (Look at the “Quick Links” such as “Our Loves”, “Best Sellers” and “Allure Best of Beauty”) and reading the reviews written by customers with your skin type! :)
Some of my favorite brands are Tarte, Urban Decay, and Benefit. I think it’s always smart to invest in a good quality foundation brush with dense bristles. A lot of the flatter foundation brushes makes even the most expensive foundations look like a cakey mask! Look for products that will make your life easier in terms of getting ready. For me, I prefer to do my brows everyday, so a great brow gel, powder, or pencil is something I need. I don’t usually splurge on lip products a lot because I can get some great dupes at the drugstore. If you have pretty good skin, I would buy a versatile concealer over a foundation for your first time.
Again, read the reviews and keep your skin type in mind! I have oily/combo skin so Luminizing products aren’t the best for me. If you break out, make sure to get oil-free products. Check out some Youtube gurus for in-depth reviews on certain things you’re interested in. And if anything, save your receipt and the package so you can return something if it’s the wrong color or doesn’t work for you.
I hope this helps!! :)@7 months ago with 9 notes
